Edible Playdough?

This is just a quick bonus post for today- the real post will be up later. I've been researching edible playdough for a long time now and haven't thought the options looked too delicious. This is what I came up with.
This is technically a recipe for cookie dough, but you could make it and add in some food coloring. Kids could sculpt little projects and then devour them- so fun!
1 cup flour
2 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup applesauce OR 1/4 c + 2 tbs of oil
6 tablespoons granulated sugar
6 tablespoons brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Food coloring as needed
(1) Add all ingredients together in a bowl. Stir in food coloring with the liquids first and then add dry ingredients.
(2) Store in the fridge or freezer.
