NEW Julep Giveaway!

So I revised the Julep giveaway and added another bonus!
Now the package includes:
1 full size Hand and Cuticle Cream (this is supposed to be their product of the season!)
1 full size Best Ever Pedi Cream
1 full size Grace polish (it's a beautiful ballet pink sheer)
Human Trafficking is a cause that is near and dear to my heart. I want to do my part since this is Human Trafficking Awareness month, so I'm giving away this awesome package to ONE lucky reader. In order to qualify, all you have to do is head over to our FACEBOOK page and watch the (short!) music video about human trafficking. You'll find the link underneath the picture of the giveaway. Then leave a comment about which part/child/fact/whatever impacted you the most.
Not into facebook? No problem. Just leave the comment here! Just remember to leave an email address.
This is such an important cause. I'm not asking you to give anything other than 5 minutes of your time, we need to spread awareness that this is happening in the world.
That's all for today! I have something *really* fun planned for next week that I can't wait to share. I also have one last (money related!) project for tomorrow. I hope your week has been treating you well! All the best and as always, thanks for reading!

  1. i watched the video. the whole subject makes me sick. the statistics are staggering, but the worst is the one mentioning the children who should be learning to read, who are forced into slavery. my heart breaks for those little babies & i have a hard time wrapping my head around something so horrifying. truely horrifying. katie(dot)nobriga(at)gmail(dot)com.

  2. I have been aware of human trafficking for years. I am very careful about the products I buy. I have one complaint about these giveaways.........What about your followers who don't have Facebook?

    1. If you notice- I'm starting to work toward a solution for that. Originally I had readers comment on the post, but the comment section is really spotty. Often people would try to comment and it just wouldn't go through unless they had a blogger account. Nearly every post I write, someone tells me that they tried several times to comment unsuccessfully. SO frustrating! And even more so when a reader is trying to enter a contest. So I stopped using that route and also at the same time wanted to encourage facebook following because it was the easiest way to create community/conversation and stay connected. Thanks to facebook's new "sponsored posts" it is quickly becoming the *worst* way! If you'll notice, this giveaway specifically included a way for others to participate (and you did, yay you!). Still looking for a solution, and I have been for several months, but for now I'll probably just continue facebook + comment section. I hope that cleared it up a little bit for you! And how do you follow? That may help spark some ideas for making things more inclusive. Thanks for the feedback! And thank you for being aware of trafficking, it's a tragedy that needs to end.

    2. I follow by email. I don't twitter, pin or anything else. I guess I'm old-fashioned these days.

    3. Oh email address:
      lovebirdmom at gmail dot com

    4. E-mail is toughie. It's the only way to make sure you get everything I post, but it's impossible for me to connect with e-mail followers :/ I'm not given a list of email addresses or even names, just a number of how many follow through email. It's really frustrating. Would commenting on the post continue to work well for you? It seems like you don't experience issues with comments going through.

    5. Also- love the lovebirds!!! we almost got one before ending up with a parrotlet.

  3. The children are just giving me butterflies and It's very inspiring (the video) My email is
